AFP-NC Issues Statement on Buttigieg Visit to Charlotte
Charlotte, North Carolina—Today, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Charlotte Douglas International Airport to announce more federal spending.
Americans for Prosperity-North Carolina (AFP-NC) State Director Tyler Voigt issued the following statement on Sec. Buttigieg’s visit:
“Secretary Buttigieg’s visit to North Carolina is nothing more than a taxpayer-funded campaign stop. The millions of dollars in ‘investment’ that the Biden Administration is touting are the reason why North Carolinians are struggling to make ends meet; unfunded infrastructure spending is the reason why inflation is eating into hardworking Americans’ paychecks. North Carolina is part of the Biden campaign’s reelection strategy, but it is both transparent and insulting to taxpayers. ‘Bidenomics’ isn’t the solution to Americans’ economics hardships—it’s the cause.”
