AFP-GA Issues Statement on President’s Visit in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Ahead of President Joe Biden’s campaign visit in metro Atlanta this weekend, Americans for Prosperity – Georgia (AFP-GA) is once again calling out the failure of “Bidenomics.”
AFP-GA State Director Tony West released the following statement:
“As President Biden takes an apparent victory lap following his State of the Union address and continues to promote ‘Bidenomics,’ we remain committed to exposing the facts about the Biden-Harris Administration’s failed agenda. These policies have led to record-high inflation rates, lower wages for working-class Georgians, and resulted in unnecessary hardship for Americans across the country.
“President Biden’s State of the Union address was nothing more than a campaign speech that is being continued in Atlanta. This weekend, we urge the President to spend his time addressing the struggles of hardworking Georgians instead of repeating the false narrative that ‘Bidenomics’ is working.”
Background
This week, Americans for Prosperity launched an eight-figure campaign to set the record straight on “Bidenomics” with the launch of Bidenomics.com.
The effort follows a recent ad campaign by the grassroots group to hold lawmakers accountable for voting for unchecked government spending that has directly contributed to the inflation eating into Americans’ paychecks.
