Americans for Prosperity-Virginia Applauds Governor for Relaxing Certificate-of-Need Laws

Richmond, VA – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) released the following statement in response to Governor Ralph Northam’s Executive Order reducing restrictions for hospitals.

“This Executive Order affords hospitals more flexibility and capability to add the hospital beds they need without being caught in red tape,” said State Director JC Hernandez. “We commend the Governor for taking this step in the right direction for the best interest of our residents during these difficult times and call on him to work to eliminate these restrictions permanently.”
