Americans for Prosperity Thanks Montana Democrats & Republicans for Positive Reforms During 2019 Legislative Session

BOZEMAN, Montana – Americans for Prosperity-Montana (AFP-MT) launched a state-wide direct mail, digital, and grassroots effort thanking both Democrat and Republican lawmakers for their principled votes on barrier breaking reforms during the 2019 legislative session. The campaign is part of the grassroots organization’s ongoing effort to mobilize Montanan’s around key policies that will enable every individual to achieve their American dream.

The direct mail and digital materials focus on four reforms that moved through the legislature during the 2019 session:

Americans for Prosperity-Montana State Director, David Herbst had this to say about the effort:

“Lawmakers made great strides this past legislative session to tackle our state’s toughest challenges. We saw lawmakers reach across the aisle and act on principle to ensure that real change that will improve the lives of thousands of Montanans made it to the Governor’s desk.”

“We’d particularly like to thank Senators Bogner and Gross for their leadership on driver’s license suspension reform and legislation to protect free expression on Montanan’s public college campuses. There’s more to be done next session. But several lawmakers will be hearing from our network of activists across the state thanking them for their leadership and work on behalf of every Montanan.”

Lawmakers included in the campaign are:

  • Senators: Gross, Bennett, Fielder, Wellborn, Keenan, Hoven, Bognar, Gilespie, Small, Esp, Ellsworth, Kary, Thomas, Hinebauch, and Gauthier.
  • House members: Woods, Kelker, Hamilton, Keogh, Hopkins, Read, Kassmier, Dunn, Doane, Noland, Hertz, Moore, Tschida, Burnett, McKamey, Brown, Skees, Glimm, Sheldon- Galloway, C. Knudsen, and Anderson.
