LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today announced the release of its 2019-2020 legislative scorecard highlighting how lawmakers voted on some of the most important issues during the past two legislative sessions. The scorecard is a useful tool that enhances accountability and transparency between Nebraskans and their elected officials.
The grassroots group also launched its 2021 legislative agenda, a policy roadmap that prioritizes opportunity and growth for all Nebraskans.
AFP-NE State Director Jessica Shelburn issued the following statement:
“AFP-NE is excited to continue its work to advance policies that break down barriers and increase opportunity for Nebraskans. This year, we will focus our efforts on implementing comprehensive tax reform, expanding access to quality and affordable health care, leveling the playing field for Nebraska entrepreneurs and businesses, and increasing educational freedom for every child. Our goal is to help Nebraskans get engaged in the legislative process and ensure their voices are heard.”
