LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today released its 107th Legislative Progress Report. The goal of this progress report is to increase accountability and transparency between lawmakers and their constituents. This report highlights how lawmakers voted on key issues during this year’s legislative session, such as tax reform, expanding educational freedom, increasing quality, affordable health care, and cutting burdensome red tape hindering economic growth and opportunity.
The grassroots group will also launch a direct mail and digital ad campaign to recognize principled leaders who took meaningful steps to help improve the lives of all Nebraskans.
AFP-NE State Director Jessica Shelburn issued the following statement:
“Our goal is to help Nebraskans feel better connected to the legislative process so their voice can be heard. AFP-NE applauds our Torchbearers of Freedom who worked hard this past year and displayed true dedication to breaking down barriers, helping Nebraska families and businesses to thrive. We look forward to continuing to work with our leaders to fight for the good life and help every Nebraskan live their American Dream.”
