BACKGROUND

Michele Reynolds, Ohio Senate District 3

Michele Reynolds currently serves as Madison Township Trustee. As a trustee, Reynolds worked to make the budget process more transparent, cut spending, and sell assets the government no longer needed. In the State Senate, Reynolds will leverage her experience running multiple rehabilitation and recidivism reduction programs to provide second chances for rehabilitated individuals and help them successfully return to their communities.

Beth Bigham, Ohio House of Representatives District 34

Beth Bigham will work to get the government out of the way to create more access to quality health care at affordable prices. Bigham will support policies that reform scope-of-practice laws, which restrict certain health care professionals from providing care commensurate to their education and training, and telehealth to expand access to individuals with restricted mobility. Bingham will also advocate for Ohio taxpayers by working to control state taxes and sending.

Steve Demetriou, Ohio House of Representatives District 35

As a small business owner, Steve Demetriou understands that state government policies can undermine the ability of businesses to grow and create jobs. When elected to the State House, he will work to enact tax policies that promote businesses and economic growth and allow Ohioans to keep more of their hard-earned incomes. He supports eliminating the state income tax, the corporate activities tax, and the gross receipts tax. Demetriou will also help Ohio families by expanding educational choices so parents can choose education programs that address their children’s individual learning needs.

Josh Williams, Ohio House of Representatives District 41

Josh Williams will work in the State House to break down barriers that prevent people from reaching their full potential. Williams will work to reform occupational licensing regulations that make it more difficult to perform certain jobs or start new businesses. He will also champion scope-of-practices laws that prevent health care professionals from working to their full training.

State Rep. Derek Merrin, Ohio House of Representatives District 42

As chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Derek Merrin is a leader and key voice supporting major tax reform issues, particularly those focused on property taxes. He has been the lead sponsor on two bills to increase transparency and accountability and reduce overall tax burdens. Merrin co-sponsored multiple job-promoting reforms, including legislation to eliminate occupational licensure barriers through licensure reduction and reciprocity. He has also supported efforts to reform the prevailing wage rules and enact public sector right-to-work.

Nick Santucci, Ohio House of Representatives District 64

When elected to the State House, Nick Santucci will advance the taxpayers’ interests through commonsense tax reforms that impose broad-based cuts and focus on creating a more favorable business environment to create more and better-paying jobs and grow Ohio’s economy. Santucci will support energy policies that promote and expand U.S. domestic energy production.
