LINCOLN, NE – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) is excited to welcome Michelle Sewell to the role of deputy state director. The addition of Sewell rounds out the grassroots chapter’s leadership team, enabling the group to continue building communities and expand opportunity across the state.

“I am incredibly excited for the opportunity bring people together and help advance personal liberties,” said Michelle Sewell, AFP-NE deputy state director. “As a mother and small business owner, I understand how big government can hurt businesses trying to stay afloat and prevent families from thriving. I believe grassroots advocacy can truly help break down barriers and drive meaningful policy reform.”

As a lifelong Nebraskan, Michelle Sewell understands the issues our families are faced with and is looking forward to expanding the group’s grassroots outreach across the state. Working as a government employee for several years and seeing bureaucracy at its worst, she is determined to make real change happen from the bottom up and hold government accountable. Sewell lives in Lincoln with her family where she owned and operated a bookkeeping business for several years.
