LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today congratulated former Governor Pete Ricketts on his appointment to the U.S. Senate, filling the seat recently vacated by Senator Ben Sasse.

AFP-NE State Director Jessica Shelburn issued the following statement:

“Under his leadership, unemployment rates plummeted, state spending has been slashed by nearly half, and the largest tax cuts in state history have been signed into law.
