Americans for Prosperity Expands Footprint, Announces New Team Members

Feb 18, 2021 by AFP

LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today announced its footprint expansion by welcoming a new Grassroots Engagement Director Drew Borske and Grassroots Coordinator Crystal Farr. With the addition of these experienced leaders, AFP-NE positions itself to maximize its impact across the state, setting the stage for continued and enhanced engagement in 2021 and beyond.

Prior to joining AFP-NE, Drew Borske served as a legislative aide for state Senator Steve Halloran. “I am honored to join AFP-NE and advocate for a freer and more open society,” said Drew. After residing in Nebraska for nearly three decades, Drew has become painfully aware of the excessive taxation and regulation that stunts Nebraska’s economic growth and puts an unfair burden on our residents. “I am excited to hit the ground running and work with our activists to bring about true prosperity in Nebraska.”

Crystal Farr, based in Scotts Bluff County, is a Nebraska native who brings a passion for freedom and empowering Nebraskans to reach their full potential. Crystal is eager to work with grassroots teams across the state, to advance tax reform and educational freedom. “As a mother of 5 and one on the way,” said Crystal, “I understand how important it is for families to have educational options available that meet their child’s unique needs. I look forward to joining AFP-NE and building grassroots relations with political, business, and community leaders.”

Background:

The group recently released its 2021 Legislative Agenda focusing its efforts on implementing comprehensive tax reform, expanding access to quality and affordable health care, leveling the playing field for Nebraska entrepreneurs and businesses, and increasing educational freedom for every child.
