BATON ROUGE, La. – Americans for Prosperity-Louisiana (AFP-LA) today announced its support for Jeremy Stine running in the special election to represent the 27th district in the Louisiana State Senate. As a third-generation small business owner, active community advocate, and native Louisianan, Stine has earned the full support of AFP-LA due to his commitment to champion policy reforms in Baton Rouge that make the American Dream more achievable. Specifically, Stine has indicated his support for reining in wasteful spending that most significantly impacts middle-class families, lowering the tax burden on hardworking Louisianans, and cutting red tape to make it easier for small businesses to succeed.
AFP-LA Community Engagement Director Jordan Van issued the following statement:
“As a sixth-generation Southwest Louisianan, Jeremy Stine knows first-hand the challenges families across our community and all of Louisiana face. Jeremy also knows that Southwest Louisianans are resilient and come together to find community-driven solutions when our neighbors need it most.”
“That’s why Jeremy Stine is committed to backing small businesses in Baton Rouge by removing red tape, lowering the tax burden on our hardworking families, and cutting wasteful spending that mortgages our children’s futures. And, that’s why we’re excited to throw our full support behind Jeremy Stine for Louisiana State Senate this October.”
