Americans for Prosperity-Colorado Opposes Mandatory Collective Bargaining for Colorado Counties

DENVER, CO—Today, Americans for Prosperity-Colorado announced their opposition to a collective bargaining bill that will create mandatory bargaining across all Colorado counties.

Jesse Mallory, State Director for Americans for Prosperity-Colorado, issued the following statement:

“Mandatory collective bargaining imposed on Colorado counties undermines freedom of association for workers and accountability of government for residents. Union contracts driven by union leaders don’t represent the interests of the Colorado public. Colorado counties, and all institutions, should have the opportunity to open dialogue where policies are set with everyone’s input.”
