Americans for Prosperity Applauds Administration Joint Employer Rule

Arlington, Va. – Americans for Prosperity applauded the U.S. Department of Labor for its final rule to revise and update its regulations interpreting joint employer status under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The rule eliminates barriers that have hindered small businesses’ ability to improve their workplace and create jobs in recent years.

Erica Jedynak, Americans for Prosperity’s Director of Employment Initiatives, issued the following statement:

“AFP applauds the Trump administration for reinstating a policy that has effectively served countless franchises and small businesses.
