Americans for Prosperity Announces Support for Mary Hilton in Lincoln City Council Election

LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today announced its endorsement for Lincoln City Council candidate, Mary Hilton. AFP-NE will leverage the full support of its grassroots to urge voters to support Mary Hilton in this year’s primary and general elections.

AFP-NE State Director Jessica Shelburn issued the following statement:

We are confident in Hilton’s ability to drive lasting policy change that will help every Lincoln community member prosper. Mary Hilton: With a background in accounting, political newcomer, Mary Hilton understands the importance of prioritizing budget reform in Lincoln. Hilton has already established herself as the leader Lincoln needs, advocating for stronger fiscal responsibility, reducing burdensome red tape, and opposing the city’s “Green New Deal.” If elected, Mary Hilton will also champion policies that reduce the tax burden on hardworking families, allowing Nebraskans to keep more of what they earn.
