AFP-Virginia Announces Support for Scott Wyatt

RICHMOND, Va. – In anticipation of Saturday’s convention, Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) announced support for Scott Wyatt in the race for Delegate of Virginia’s 97th House District.

AFP-VA State Director JC Hernandez issued the following statement:

“AFP-Virginia supports Scott Wyatt for the House of Delegates because he understands the importance of enacting innovative solutions that will give every Virginian access to quality health care and protect them from harmful tax increases.

“Medicaid expansion poses a threat to the Commonwealth because it will crowd out care for our most vulnerable, strain an overwhelmed state budget, and force harmful tax increases on Virginians.

“Scott Wyatt understands that we need to stop trying to figure out how to afford health care and instead make health care affordable. We encourage convention delegates to vote for Scott Wyatt.”
