AFP-VA Congratulates Newly Elected State Legislators

Nov 5, 2019 by AFP

RICHMOND, VA—Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) tonight congratulates the newly elected and re-elected members of the Virginia General Assembly. AFP-VA thanks its dedicated activists for their tireless efforts to support policy champions seeking to represent Virginians in Richmond.

AFP-VA State Director JC Hernandez issued the following statement:

“We are excited to see AFP supported candidates Siobhan Dunnavant, Mike Webert, Bill Stanley, Dave Suetterlein, and Steve Newman win their respective contests, and look forward to a positive outcome in Roxann Robinson’s race. The tireless efforts of our activists successfully elected lawmakers that we can rely on to remove barriers to opportunity and continuously advocate for all Virginians.

This cycle presented a unique opportunity for our activists to hone their skills in supporting policy champions through the Nick Freitas write-in effort. We are especially proud of the work our organization was able to accomplish to support Delegate Freitas and look forward to seeing the results of his race.

With this election cycle almost behind us, we now look forward to working alongside all of Virginia’s lawmakers in Richmond to make the Commonwealth the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
