AFP Urges Senators, Biden to Stop Reckless Spending Causing Debt Crisis

ARLINGTON, VA—Today, Americans for Prosperity released a series of video digital ads calling on Senators in key battleground states and President Biden to stop the reckless spending that has led the United States to another debt ceiling crisis. The ads will run in Nevada, Montana, Arizona, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Washington D.C.

Our country is on the verge of an economic crisis.

Reckless spending got us here. More will make it worse.

President Biden, America can’t afford to do nothing.

On Monday, AFP and coalition partners sent a letter to President Biden urging him to stop playing politics and negotiate in good faith with Congressional leaders on the responsible debt ceiling legislation passed by the House.
