AFP-Texas Praises Bi-partisan Passage of Tax Reform and Relief

AUSTIN, Texas – With only days left in the legislative session, the Texas Legislature came together to deliver historic property tax reform and relief to Texans. After the deal was announced at Thursday afternoon’s press conference, both chambers still had to approve and formally vote on the changes. On Saturday night, Senate Bill 2 and House Bill 3 passed both chambers with overwhelming support. These bills will now go to Governor Abbott’s desk for final signature.
