HARRISBURG, Pa. – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania(AFP-PA) today released their 2019-2020 midsession scorecard. The comprehensive digest informs Pennsylvanians on how their elected officials voted on the most impactful bills of the legislative session, covering issues such as criminal justice reform and economic opportunity. The Scorecard includes more than 3,526 individual votes covering 20 bills in the state House and Senate. This year, more than 100 lawmakers received an “A” or “A+,” and almost 100 received an “F.”
AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith issued the following statement:
“Continuous grassroots engagement driven by informed activists is necessary to solve the Commonwealth’s biggest problems. That’s why we produce this scorecard – to help Pennsylvanians understand their elected officials’ voting records, give them a platform to have their voices heard, and empower them to drive lasting change in their communities. We look forward to continue working with all lawmakers to make meaningful progress on issues that help everyone succeed.”
