Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—Today, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen visited the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce to boost the Biden Administration’s economic policies, known as “Bidenomics.”
Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) State Director Ashley Klingensmith issued the following statement on Sec. Yellen’s visit:
“Secretary Yellen will tell us that this is the ‘strongest economic comeback of our lifetimes,’ but the reality is Pennsylvanians are still living paycheck-to-paycheck.
“Pittsburgh’s business owners know that under ‘Bidenomics’ it has gotten harder and more expensive to do business. From regressive energy policies to profligate government spending, all Biden, Yellen, and Senator Casey have done is put the American Dream further out of reach for Pennsylvanians. Instead, they’ll blame everything but their own failed policies. This campaign stop is an insult to every hardworking taxpayer who’s had to figure out how to make ends meet while the President and his allies continue to tell them how strong the economic recovery is.”
