Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—Today, Americans for Prosperity Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) announced that Grassroots Engagement Director Pete Linko would assume the position of Director of Grassroots Operation for the state chapter.
As Director of Grassroots Operations, Linko will oversee the state’s team of Grassroots Engagement Directors based throughout the commonwealth.
State Director Ashley Klingensmith made the following statement after the announcement:
“I am thrilled that Pete will continue his outstanding work with AFP-PA as our new Director of Grassroots Operations. He is a natural leader, passionate organizer, and cares deeply about his neighbors across the commonwealth. In his new position, AFP-PA will be well-positioned to keep our network of grassroots activists energized and informed about what’s going on in Harrisburg. There are few people I’ve met in this job who are as passionate about small government and individual freedom.”
Linko joined AFP-PA as an engagement director in January 2022. He has a history of being an active and engaged member of his community. Before joining AFP-PA as a full-time activist, he worked tirelessly in his private capacity to advance causes in his community. He organized over 10,000 citizens in Pittsburgh to preserve the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration at Point State Park. He also led over 15,000 citizens to oppose a plan to impose tolls on Interstate 79 near Pittsburgh.
Linko has a background in logistics, after working for UPS for seven years. He graduated from God’s Bible College in 2019. He lives in Washington County with his wife, Erica, and his son, Liam.
