AFP-PA Announces 2020 Statewide Tax Reform Tour

HARRISBURG, PA – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA), the Keystone State’s leading free-market grassroots organization, announced today the launch of its statewide 2020 Tax Reform Tour.

The tour centers on bringing Pennsylvanians together around the need for comprehensive tax reform for the Commonwealth. It officially kicked off today in the 57^th Legislative District with Representative Eric Nelson and spans the state throughout this season of budget hearings. Upcoming tour dates throughout the state will be announced soon.

“Our state has some of the most talented and hardworking people anywhere in the world,” said AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith. “What we need now is a tax system that removes barriers to opportunity for our residents instead of weighing them down. The people of our great state deserve a tax code that is simple, competitive and more equitable across the board. This tour is about making sure Pennsylvania’s voices are heard loud and clear from Westmoreland to Wyoming Counties. This week we celebrated our tenth-year anniversary as an organization in the Keystone State. In that time, we’ve helped to accomplish meaningful reforms in our state. Now, as we look forward to the next decade, I’m confident this effort will strengthen our economy for generations to come.”
