AFP: New Health Reimbursement Arrangement Rule a Win for More Affordable, Flexible Health Coverage

Jun 19, 2019 by AFP

Arlington, Va. – The Trump administration issued its Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) final regulation today, a development welcomed by Americans for Prosperity.

Americans for Prosperity Policy Manager David Barnes issued the following statement:

“Too often the Washington health care debate focuses on virtually every issue but the most important one – how to meaningfully reduce costs. The Trump administration’s Health Reimbursement Arrangement rule is a refreshing and welcome step in the right direction. It will give employers new flexibility to provide insurance as well as empower American consumers with greater control and the ability to take their coverage from job to job. This is what smart health care reform looks like to put consumers and taxpayers first.”
