AFP Commends Senate for Confirming David Porter

ARLINGTON, Va. – Americans for Prosperity on Friday applauded the U.S. Senate for voting to confirm U.S. Court of Appeals nominee David Porter.

Americans for Prosperity Vice President of Judicial Strategy Sarah Field had this to say:

“David Porter is a supremely qualified judge who will protect our rights and defend the Constitution on the U.S. Court of Appeals. Throughout his career, Porter has demonstrated that he understands the role of a judge is to interpret the law as written, not legislate from the bench. We thank all senators who voted to confirm his nomination.”
