AFP-Colorado Celebrates Fair Funding for Charter School Students

With the help of the LIBRE Initiative, Americans for Prosperity-Colorado and our activists were successful in passing legislation through both chambers of the state legislature to equalize funding for public charter schools.

Prior to this legislation being passed, charter schools were chronically underfunded, despite outperforming many traditional public schools.

This legislation puts all public schools on equal footing and levels the playing field for the one in eight Colorado students who attend a charter school.
