AFP-WY Celebrates Sweeping Victories of Endorsed Candidates for State Legislature

Americans for Prosperity Press Release

CHEYENNE, WY – Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming (AFP-WY) congratulated its endorsed candidates for the state legislature on their general election victories on Wednesday and emphasized their imperative to drive on AFP-backed policies in the next legislative session.

These candidates sailed to victory after a large-scale grassroots effort by AFP-WY’s network of activists and volunteers that began before the primary elections. In endorsing and supporting these candidates, AFP-WY aims to build a durable majority of legislators who fight for a small government approach to governing and expand opportunity and prosperity in the Cowboy State.

Tyler Lindholm, AFP-WY state director, gave the following statement:

“AFP-WY congratulates our outstanding endorsed candidates for the state legislature on their decisive victories on Tuesday. As the freest state in the nation, Wyoming needs principled legislators like these to keep us on the path toward greater liberty and opportunity.

“After years of complacency and outdated ideas in our state government, these leaders will work alongside us to deliver a lower cost of living, slash government red tape, empower small businesses, and ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.”
