AFP, Jersey 1st Statement on Legislature Holding Superfund Bill

Trenton, NJ — Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and Jersey 1st released the following statement after the New Jersey legislature’s decision to not advance S-2338, the Climate Superfund Act.

AFP Northeast Region Director Ross Connolly and Zachery Dora, Jersey 1st Advocacy Director, said:

“We thank the legislature for listening to New Jerseyans and holding this bill today. S-2338 would have had long-term economic consequences that drove up costs for families and hindered the business community.

“The Garden State already faces some of the highest living costs and burdensome regulatory requirements in the nation. We hope today marks a turning point and call on lawmakers to stop this bad idea for good.”

In case you missed it, Ross Connolly joined Jeanette Hoffman on Energy Matters to discuss the bill. Watch here.
