OTTUMWA, IA — Americans for Prosperity-Iowa (AFP-IA) today announced its endorsement of Helena Hayes in her re-election bid to represent Iowa’s 88th House District.
AFP-IA State Director Tyler Raygor issued the following statement:
“Representative Helena Hayes has been a fierce advocate for education, energy, and regulatory policies that cut red tape and reduce government overreach. Hayes was a critical partner in passing Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) and opposing Right of First Refusal proposals that would raise utility prices for hardworking Iowans.
“Hayes is the conservative, steadfast leader that District 88 deserves, and AFP-IA is proud to endorse her re-election. As part of the largest grassroots organization in the country, AFP-IA intends to put the full weight of our grassroots capabilities behind Hayes’ re-election.”
