AFP-GA Welcomes President Trump to Georgia for Economic Speech

ROME, GA – Americans for Prosperity-Georgia (AFP-GA) welcomed President Donald Trump to Georgia today as part of his administration’s efforts to highlight their work to lower costs for Georgia families, workers and businesses.

AFP-GA State Director Tony West released the following statement:

“The Trump administration is rightly focused on how they can make life better for all Georgians, building on the Working Families Tax Cut that is already starting to deliver much-needed tax relief for Georgia families. The bill protects Georgia farmers, lowers the tax burden on the state’s small business owners and cuts costly regulations that have driven up energy costs.

“Senators Ossoff and Warnock and other Georgia Democrats voted against these tax cuts. If they are truly committed to putting people over politics, they should be voting for legislation that delivers Georgians more of their hard-earned dollars.”
