AFP-SC Responds to Governor McMaster’s State of the State Address

COLUMBIA, SC – Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) released the following statement in response to Governor Henry McMaster’s State of the State address on Wednesday night.

AFP-SC State Director Matt Humm issued the following statement:

“We thank Governor McMaster for his years of service to the Palmetto State. We were pleased that his final State of the State touched on many issues that should be addressed this legislative session, from expanding school choice to eliminating the state income tax and modeling South Carolina’s judicial system after the federal system. With this year’s session well underway, it will be crucial that we build upon previous reforms and advance solutions that will make South Carolina the freest state in the South.”
