AFP-NC Welcomes President Trump to North Carolina

ROCKY MOUNT, NC – Americans for Prosperity-North Carolina (AFP-NC) welcomed President Donald Trump to North Carolina today as part of the Trump administration’s efforts to lower costs for North Carolina families, workers and businesses.

AFP-NC State Director Tyler Voigt released the following statement:

“AFP-NC supported the Trump administration’s signature policy achievement to date, the Working Families Tax Cuts, because it will deliver much-needed tax relief for North Carolina families. The bill protects North Carolina’s farmers, benefits the thousands of military members and their families who call the Tar Heel State home, and lowers the tax burden on the state’s small business owners. In 2026, we look forward to continuing to deliver policy solutions that allow North Carolinians to keep more of their hard-earned dollars.”
