Atlanta, GA – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Georgia (AFP-GA) is calling out Senator Ossoff for saying a bipartisan solution is necessary to end the current government shutdown but voting for the 12th time against a clean funding bill supported by both Republicans and Democrats.
AFP-GA State Director Tony West released the following statement:
“Senator Ossoff and his fellow Democrats are responsible for the pain being inflicted upon everyday Georgians, which gets worse the longer the shutdown continues. More than 100,000 Georgians are likely to miss another paycheck tomorrow. If Ossoff wants to support a bipartisan solution to reopen the government, he should support the clean funding bill.”
AFP-GA will continue to hold elected leaders accountable until Washington delivers the commonsense solutions that hardworking Georgians deserve.
