Columbus, OH – Yesterday, Americans for Prosperity—Ohio (AFP-OH) hosted a ceremony to present the Taxpayer Torch Award to Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman. The award stands to recognize members of the Ohio State Legislature who fight for taxpayers, cut burdensome regulations, and make the Buckeye State freer and more economically prosperous for families and businesses alike.
AFP-OH State Director Donovan O’Neal and Deputy Director Tim Ross hosted the ceremony and presented Speaker Huffman with the award. In his remarks, Speaker Huffman thanked AFP-OH for the recognition and reaffirmed the importance of keeping regulations and taxes limited to ensure continued growth and opportunity across Ohio.
