A restrictive homeschooling bill in Illinois threatened their ability to educate their children. They reached out to AFP for help. They built a coalition of families across the state, attended rallies at the capitol, called their legislators, and testified at the capitol.

Now, the bill is defeated — protecting educational freedom for families across Illinois.

When key tax cuts were set to expire, his small-town Pennsylvania grocery business faced major cuts — impacting employees, families, and his community. He reached out to AFP for help. He shared his story in Pennsylvania and Washington, educating lawmakers and his community.

Now, the Working Family Tax Cuts passed.

When complications arose in her pregnancy, Certificate of Need laws in West Virginia limited care — forcing her to leave the state to give birth and be away from family. She reached out to AFP for help. She shared her story, testified for repeal, educated her community, and was recognized by state leaders.

Now, she continues advocating to expand care and repeal CON laws.

In Georgia, running a food truck meant getting a separate permit for each of the 159 counties — making it nearly impossible to run a profitable business. He reached out to AFP for help. Now, food truck operators in Georgia can run anywhere in the state with one permit.
