AFP’s Ad Highlights How Eliminating Trillions for Green New Deal Scams Can Help Push TCJA Across the Finish Line and Avoid Massive Tax Increases
ARLINGTON, VA— Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) launched a new ad, which will air in Washington, DC and nationally, flagging the trillions of dollars recklessly spent for Green New Deal cronyism under the Biden administration. Eliminating these crony scams can instead help pay for President Trump’s pro-growth tax cuts.
“Bidenomics bled American taxpayers of trillions of dollars in handouts for special interests and Green New Deal scams,” said Brent Gardner, AFP Chief Government Affairs Officer. “Eliminating wasteful IRA tax credits and spending can help push President Trump’s tax cuts over the finish line and prevent American working families and small businesses from being slammed with a massive tax increase. The Protect Prosperity campaign launched in January is the largest effort by any conservative group to support President Trump’s pro-growth tax policies. AFP is airing ads and mobilizing its grassroots army across all 50 states to reach millions of voters on their televisions, phones, and at their doorsteps.
The campaign is elevating the voices of Members of Congress who support pro-growth tax cuts while holding Members accountable who oppose this agenda, with the goal of extending and building on tax relief for American families and businesses.
