AFP-TX Statement on Walz / O’Rourke Town Hall in Houston
ROSENBERG, TX – Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) bashed Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s tone-deaf town hall event with former Congressman Robert “Beto” O’Rourke in the Houston area on Monday, calling on them to take their out-of-touch progressive policies elsewhere.
Genevieve Collins, AFP-TX state director, gave the following statement:
“Texas voters have rejected Tim Walz’s and Beto O’Rourke’s radical agendas on multiple occasions. Why should Texans listen to one more word from a governor who left his state with a crippled economy, rampant fraud, and political dysfunction?
“While Walz is on stage regurgitating his failed ‘Minnesota Miracle,’ AFP-TX will be delivering real results for Texans on universal school choice, property tax relief, and housing abundance.”
