AFP to Bernie: Nevada Isn’t Gambling with Your Progressive Politics
LAS VEGAS, NV — Today, liberal elitists Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are in Las Vegas holding a rally pushing the same progressive policies that Nevadans rejected back in November.
But this political stunt is distracting from the issues Nevadans care about, like economic prosperity and the cost of living.
AFP-Nevada State Director Ronnie Najarro issued the following statement:
“Instead of putting on a far-left progressive road show, members of Congress like Bernie Sanders and AOC should focus on passing legislation that will empower Americans and ease the burden of an uncertain economy.
“At AFP, we’re focused on policies like renewing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), legislation that will cost Nevadans an average of $3,523 on their federal tax bill if not renewed. We must focus on policies that drive growth, innovation, and prosperity–not ones that push Nevada backward. It’s time to turn the page on Bernie’s outdated agenda and champion changing the narrative for the better.”
