AFP-IL Launches Campaign Opposing Regulations on Homeschooling
SPRINGFIELD, IL – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Illinois (AFP-Illinois) is launching a statewide video campaign urging Illinoisans to contact their lawmakers and demand they reject HB2827, the Homeschool Act.
The Homeschool Act is a reckless and oppressive measure that threatens to dismantle the freedoms of homeschool families across Illinois. The bill would create harsh consequences for students and parents and is an attack on parental rights, academic freedom, and individual privacy.
The two videos highlight stories from Illinois homeschooling families and the restrictions imposed by this misguided legislation.
