SPRINGFIELD, MO – Americans for Prosperity – Missouri (AFP-MO) today applauded Governor Mike Parson’s signing of Executive Order 20-04. This order removes the barrier doctors faced in providing telehealth to new patients and authorizes executive agencies to waive or suspend specific regulations and statutes which interfere with COVID-19 responses.
“We’re thankful Governor Parson has taken the first step to help Missourians receive the care they need during this pandemic,” said State Director Jeremy Cady. “Moving forward, we urge the Governor and his Administration to remove further burdens to increase access to quality health care for our residents now and in the future.”
