In August, over 9,000 Coloradans rallied against government-run health care as the Patients First Bus Tour rolled through 13 cities across Colorado.  Well, the bus is back.  The Patients First bus tour sponsored by Americans for Prosperity will be coming to Colorado again on October 30 – 31.

The past six months have seen unbridled government growth. From the wasteful stimulus bill, to the endless bailouts, to the takeover of the auto industry, these days it seems that government knows no restraint. And now they have their eyes on our health care.

The health care debate has reached a critical point. Members of Congress have been home for weeks, attending town hall meetings, and they are finally beginning to listen to their constituents.

AFP Colorado joins forces with Western Slope Conservative Alliance for joint rally during Presidential visit

Grand Junction ─ The Colorado chapter of Americans for Prosperity has joined forces with a local grassroots Grand Junction group, the Western Slope Conservative Alliance for a Hands Off My Health Care Rally on Saturday during the presidential visit.

Yesterday our Patients First "Hands Off Our Health Care" rally drew over 1,200 activists to Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs. The crowd was there to send a clear message to President Obama: Americans won't sit back and watch our health care system be taken over by Big Government bureaucrats. Speakers included Americans for Prosperity Colorado State Director Jeff Crank, Dr. David Ross, and cancer survivor Bev Rafferty.

Environmental alarmists are pushing a massive new energy tax. Through a scheme known as cap-and-trade, government will slap a huge new tax on businesses for using coal, oil and natural gas.
