Legislation from Congressman Greg Steube and Congresswoman Kat Cammack allows low-income Americans to put a portion of their ACA cost-sharing reduction subsidy into a health savings account.

Neither of these measures will reduce inflation – in fact, the added subsidies will do the opposite by incentivizing insurers to continue raising rates.
