Proposed State Income Tax Stopped in Alaska

As lawmakers tried to push through a bill that would have created a state income tax, Americans for Prosperity and our activists led the way in making sure Alaskan families wouldn’t face another tax.

AFP helped keep enough allies in line by focusing the debate around the state’s years of excessive spending. Thanks to the efforts of our activists, Alaska remains income-tax free.
