With Bidenomics, Higher Prices Are Here to Stay
ARLINGTON, VA—Americans for Prosperity’s Senior Fellow in Fiscal Policy Kurt Couchman made the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that inflation remains elevated with the Consumer Price Index rising 0.2% in June:
“Today’s inflation report is a reminder that Bidenomics is failing Americans. Families are facing prices that are permanently higher than when Biden took office thanks to Democrats’ reckless $6 trillion spending spree and inflationary regulatory agenda continuing to wreak havoc on our economy. Even if inflation pauses today, the inflation that has already occurred will cost families more on everything from gas to groceries tomorrow. We need to cut red tape across the economy and end wasteful spending to make prosperity possible.”
