MEDIA ADVISORY: AFP Hosts Tele-Town Hall with Rep. Scott Perry on Opposing State Bailouts

Harrisburg, PA – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) is hosting a Tele-Town Hall today with U.S. Congressman Scott Perry and American Legislative Exchange Council Chief Economist Johnathan Williams for a conversation on why Congress needs to reject attempts to bail out states for irresponsible policymaking made long before COVID-19.

AFP recently launched a national grassroots campaign to mobilize grassroots activists against yet another massive federal spending bill. The grassroots group has also hosted tele-town halls and Facebook live events with U.S. Sens. David Perdue, Ron Johnson, Rick Scott and Todd Young on state bailouts.
