Arlington, Va. – Americans for Prosperity Board Member, Mark Holden, joined the National Immigration Forum’s Conference, “Leading The Way”, to discuss how we can apply, to immigration reform, lessons learned from the success of the First Step Act in criminal justice reform.
Also, earlier this week, Morning Consult published an op-ed by Mark Holden on this same topic.
Watch the panel here.
If we came together on criminal justice reforms to get things done in a better way, this one [immigration] should be much easier. We have centuries of experience with all the positive things that immigrants bring to our country. It’s mutually beneficial. It’s up to congress to do it, they need to do it. Guess what has one of the longest histories of data, information, anecdotal, empirical evidence: immigration.
