ICYMI: AFP Leading the Charge: Grassroots Power Connecting Americans to the Facts on OBBBA

Arlington, VA – Americans for Prosperity (AFP) has been leading the charge with events and rallies mobilizing grassroots supporters and connecting Americans nationwide to the facts about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) – correcting misinformation and fighting back with the truth about what it really delivers:

Permanent tax cuts for individuals and small businesses.
Additional resources to secure the border.
Cutting red tape to unleash American energy.
Expanding access to personal health care options; and
Reforming Medicaid so it works for the people who rely upon it.

In a recent interview with Stacy Washington NOW, AFP Managing Director Kent Strang discussed how more than 49 lawmakers have joined AFP at events during the August recess to highlight how the legislation will benefit all Americans and put our economy back on a path to long-term prosperity.

Since the launch its ‘Protect Prosperity’ campaign, AFP has played a key role in advancing the permanent extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Reaching out to more than 1 million voters in key Congressional districts, hosting conversations with Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Leader Steve Scalise & House Conference Chair Lisa McClain, conducting over 1,500 meetings with lawmakers and staff, and investing millions of dollars in ads and testimonials.
