Indianapolis, IN – Americans for Prosperity grassroots activists from across the country traveled to Capitol Hill this week as part of Americans for Prosperity’s ongoing Protect Prosperity campaign to advocate for President Trump’s tax cuts.

State Director Josh Webb traveled to Washington and conducted a meeting to urge Indiana lawmakers to extend provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which saves the average Indiana family $1,856 in federal taxes per year and preserves 14,428 jobs throughout the state. Josh Webb also discussed passing the rescissions package from the White House to eliminate billions in wasteful spending.

AFP-IN State Director Josh Webb released the following statement:

“Each year, activists from AFP-IN travel to Washington, DC, to discuss the most pressing issues facing our communities. This week, I met with lawmakers and urged them to pass President Trump’s reconciliation package and renew the TCJA tax cuts that will save Hoosiers more of their hard-earned money on their Federal taxes.

“We must ensure Americans aren’t hit with the largest tax increase in history – we look forward to working alongside policymakers to see TCJA renewed.”
