Lincoln, NE – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) held an event at its office in Lincoln with Congressman Mike Flood with a mixture of an in-person audience and thousands over the phone.
The event focused on energy abundance, housing policy reform, and the impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts on Nebraska’s families and small businesses. Constituents were able to chat directly with Rep. Flood about the issues that are most important to Nebraskans in the 1st District.
AFP Regional Director Jesse Mallory gave the following statement:
“I’d like to thank Congressman Flood for joining us for what proved to be a hugely successful discussion with Nebraska voters on the issues that matter to them and the constructive policy solutions that will make their lives better. Like many Americans, affordability is top of mind for Nebraskans both in the 1st District and across the state.
“Congressman Flood has helped champion policies like the Working Families Tax Cuts that promise to lower costs and make our families more secure, and we were glad to host him and hear direct feedback from voters. AFP will continue to support policies that make life more affordable for all Nebraskans, and we look forward to working with Congressman Flood to make more of those policies a reality.”
