Americans for Prosperity – Texas Celebrates Endorsed Candidates’ Overwhelming Victory in Primary Elections
Austin, TX – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Texas (AFP-TX) celebrates the primary election wins of 10 of its 13 endorsed candidates for the state legislature in the 2024 election cycle and recommits to supporting the two of its endorsed candidates who will head into runoff elections in May.
AFP-TX celebrated these wins after knocking more than 92,000 doors across the state and spending nearly $500,000 in print and digital advertising since announcing its endorsements for both incumbents and newcomers in January.
Genevieve Collins, state director for AFP-TX, made the following statement:
“Today is an exciting day for freedom-loving voters across Texas, who can be proud of supporting outstanding candidates for the state House of Representatives who are dedicated to making groundbreaking reforms in education, taxation, and immigration. Next year’s legislative session will be a major opportunity to finally pass a universal school choice program in our state, and we’re glad to have these representatives as allies in the fight. The myth that Rural republicans don’t care about school choice is officially dead today.
“Texans deserve change, and these candidates will help make our state freer and more prosperous.”
