Americans for Prosperity Statement on the Out-of-Touch “Town Halls” Throughout the Country
Arlington, VA – In response to the “town hall” events occurring throughout the country, American for Prosperity Managing Director Kent Strang issued the following statement:
“Instead of fighting for what Americans care about, Democrats are fighting amnesia on their cross-country tour — even as their approval rating just hit a record low and many in their party fear this could get even worse. How quickly they forgot about November when they lost every single swing state and Americans rejected their failed policies. Americans care about real issues, not the out-of-touch policies on display as Walz, Sanders, AOC, and the rest of their crew joyride throughout the country for ‘town hall’ events.
“At Americans for Prosperity, we’re committed to delivering solutions on the issues that matter, like renewing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, eliminating waste, securing our borders, and economic prosperity. The political stunts from out-of-touch politicians are distracting from the real issues Americans care about. It’s time for them to pack it up and get back to their barely functional states where they can tout their defunct policies and empty promises all they want.”
